GRIEF & LOSS

Grief and loss among veterans often live in the body, not just the story—moral injury, identity collapse, and survivor’s guilt carried in silence. This work isn’t about retelling what happened but understanding the emotional weight it left behind and learning how to carry it with dignity.

IDENTITY & TRANSITIONS

For many veterans, the end of service marks the loss of a role, a rhythm, and a sense of belonging—leaving identity fractured and direction uncertain. This work focuses on the transition not as a problem to solve, but as a reckoning with who they were asked to become, who they left behind, and who they’re still allowed to be.

LEGACY

Legacy for veterans is often tangled in silence—measured by sacrifice, shaped by duty, and haunted by what was lost along the way. This work invites a deeper reckoning: not just with what they experienced, but with what still matters, what endures, and what they choose to live forward, in their own name—not just their rank.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This work is not therapy. It’s not about retelling your story. It’s about learning how to carry it. Veterans can expect weekly one-on-one coaching or immersive 4-day intensive programs rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), grief and identity integration, and Rite of Passage frameworks.

The work includes both emotional and physical elements that  support conversation, yes, but also walking, building, cold water, fire, silence, movement.

This is not about performance or recovery. It’s about reckoning with the parts of you shaped by service, loss, loyalty, and embracing a life that’s still yours to live, on your terms.

We are honoured to be working from the traditional territories of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. May the ancestors of these lands and the lands you are rooted in today, be honoured by all of those who feel their grief. May we hear their love song and respond in kind. May we honour their elderhood, their story, and their hearts. May we continue to nourish this land, continue to hear the stories and honour what was lost...
